“ Best Crabcake of My Life! If you're a seafood lover, Kenny's Woodfire Grill is a must-visit! I had the crabcake, and hands down, it was the best I've ever had. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and paired with three incredible sauces--wasabi, hollandaise, and aïoli--all elevating the dish to another level. The asparagus? Absolutely exceptional! It tasted like it was grilled with a red wine vinaigrette, adding a depth of flavor that complemented everything beautifully. From start to finish, this meal was top-notch. Can't wait to go back! “ This was my first time dining at Kenny's Wood Fired Grill. The name alone tells you everything is gonna be simply exquisitely perfect. So glad we had reservations cause there was a 45 minute wait time to dine in. I know the bar was first come first serve but that was packed all the way around to the opposite side of the restaurant. We did have to wait till a table was open, but the time went quickly. We sat down at our table, a very vibrant, friendly, polite, and knowledgeable Server came over to greet us by the name of Maria. She told us what the specials of the day were. There was Surf & Turf and a few more choices but I didn't remember what they were. I'm normally pretty good at taking my notes but I guess I wasn't really focused. I was starving lol. I chose the Short Rib "Oscar Style" $29.99 plus $12.49 for two sides to try. I also got a Madras Martini $8.00. From the complimentary bread, and butter...to wood fire oysters, to the braised beef and succulent crab cake (no shells) I might add. Everything was delicious!!!! The lighting was rather darker than I expected though. I know there's an ambiance here and I can dig it however I love to SEE what I'm digesting lol. This is my only recommendation, overall we had an unforgettable dining experience. I'll definitely recommend and return. ”

“ Visited Kenny's for lunch on New Year's Day and was ultimately blown away by food, drinks and service. My partner ordered the Ribeye cooked medium. Unfortunately, it was overcooked to medium-well. We were on our way to a movie afterwards so he didn't want to send it back due to the time crunch. However, at first bite, he began to make disturbing noises, so much so, I asked what was wrong?! He said, it's just TOO GOOD ... He sang praises with every bite of that steak lol... Good job, chef! I had the margarita on the rocks, which was easily top tier in terms of taste with sufficient buzz-ability. Highly recommend! I ordered the redfish for my entree and mac and cheese side. It came with generous lumps of crab and shrimp in a great cream sauce. They were not stingy with the portions! I requested no ham in my mac and the waiter explained they would gladly strain out the ham as long as I was ok knowing it was made with ham. I appreciated both the accommodation and transparency. The ambiance is kind of old school but clean and unpretentious, which I appreciated. Most patrons were casual as were we. The bill was about $125 for two entrees with sides, one alcoholic and one nonalcoholic beverage. We probably ordered the most expensive entrees and felt we got tremendous value for the quality, service, & delicious meal! We can't wait to go back. Thank you for delivering, Kenny's! ”

“ We returned to Kenny's for a take out order. The parking place reserved for food pickup was conveniently located just a few feet from the entrance. Redfish Sandwich (crispy panko crust, L, T, O, P, caper dill aioli) was one of tastiest sandwiches we've tasted. Starting with the redfish, every ingredient was the highest quality. Even the onion. Ribs (St. Louis style, hickory smoked, house barbeque sauce) delivered a flavor and taste that's worth sampling -- especially if you're used to the regular smoked BBQ ribs. The bread and butter included with the order was unexpectedly flavorful. And Heavenly when dipped in the sauce that came with the ribs. Bubbies Potato Cakes (cheddar, smoked bacon, lemon dill sour cream) -- a tasty complement to any dish. ”

“ Imagine trying a restaurant that's so good that you go back the next weekend to order the exact same thing ... We tried Kenny's out one Sunday evening for date night and it was such a delightful experience. The ambiance was dark, cozy and casual (but with adequate lighting so you can see the menu). We were greeted and seated promptly. Our server Jim was by far one of the best servers we've ever had (and we've been on A LOT of date nights). He was knowledgeable about the menu and provided great recommendations. I enjoyed the Golden Goose 75 cocktail and the crispy fish sandwich and fries while my babe enjoyed whisky, ribeye, creamed spinach and mashed potatoes. The crispy fish sandwich was HUGE !! It was made with redfish that was so crispy and fresh ! One of the most memorable things about the service was the fresh frozen glass the server brought out to pour my drink into so it would stay cold. Everything was so good we decided to go back the following weekend and bring the parents along. A true testament to a great restaurant is the consistency. Kenny's is definitely consistent! My babe and I ordered the same things again and everything was just as amazing the second time around. Not to mention our server Maria was great as well! All this to say we will definitely be back sooner rather than later. ”

“ In Texas, steakhouses are like cowboy hats: everywhere and not all created equal. Some places are great, but your wallet feels like it's been cattle-rustled. Not Kenny's! Sure, it's not cheap, but it doesn't hit you with that $$$$ price tag either, and let me tell you, Kenny has my heart (and stomach). This time, I took an out-of-town friend who wanted the true Texas steakhouse experience. Perfect excuse to finally try this iteration of Kenny's empire (there's a burger place, an Italian spot, and I swear there's even a pizza joint!). We arrived 45 minutes early, parking was easy-peasy, and we lucked into three seats at the bar. Steakhouse + martini = perfection, right? So, naturally, I ordered their on-tap (!!) Belvedere martini with blue cheese-stuffed olives. This martini was pure bliss: massive, pre-chilled glass, filled to the brim with ice-cold vodka and three high-quality, blue cheese-stuffed olives. I'm still dreaming about it. And, get this--when we asked to split one later, they happily accommodated with fresh chilled glasses and everything! They start you with a warm and huge popover, and come one, who doesn't love a popover! Now, on to the steak: Hubbs and I split the ribeye (because, why not?) and added truffle butter for good measure. It came with mushrooms, and we ordered the Brussels sprouts too. That ribeye? HUGE. We're on day three of leftovers! But the real MVP? The peanut butter pie. No dessert menu here, they just tell you the three options, but sweet Texas heaven--this pie was peanut butter nirvana. If you're even remotely thinking of skipping dessert, don't. Service? Exceptional as always. Kenny, teach the world your hospitality secrets! ”

“ This is my favorite of the Kenny's franchises. It's a quaint but special restaurant. There's a huge bar.We had a reservation for 4:30 & it was a decent crowd. Our server was phenomenal. I wish I remembered her name but it escapes me. We ordered the crab cakes for our appetizer. It def had more crab than breading which is always a win. I ordered the peartini & it was sooooo friggin good. I would literally go back just for those two items. Main course- I ordered the surf & turf (NY strip & jumbo shrimp) with potato cakes. I loved the shrimp & the smoky flavor, 10/10. I didn't like the steak much. I'm not sure what it was missing but it was underwhelming. The potato cakes were bomb. I should've went with my first mind & ordered the red snapper. My hubby ordered the shrimp pasta & asparagus. He enjoyed the shrimp & asparagus but said that the pasta lacked seasoning. The women's restroom was very clean. ”

“ This place is phenomenal for its ambiance, food, and service! My wife and I came here for dinner with her co-workers on the recommendation of her supervisor, who had been here before. Given the strong recommendation, I was thoroughly impressed. Our reservation was right on time, even though we arrived 10-15 minutes early. They were very precise with the timing, so it's important to arrive promptly. The place was buzzing with people having a great time, and the bar was packed with no empty seats in sight. The noise level was above average due to the lively conversations around us. Once our table was ready, they seated us in the back right corner near the kitchen entry and the hallway to the bathrooms. Surprisingly, this was the best spot in the restaurant as it was quiet, with no one directly behind or beside us. We had a peaceful dining experience, able to enjoy our meal and conversation in privacy. Our waiter was fantastic! He walked us through the menu and introduced us to the complimentary bread, which was shaped like a mushroom. It was light, and with the butter, absolutely delicious. My wife's supervisor recommended the pork chop, and she wasn't wrong! It was thick, juicy, and beautifully seared. I paired it with a loaded baked potato, minus the sour cream. The pork chop was perfectly seasoned and didn't need any extra condiments. To my surprise, I finished the entire chop and the side with ease. I also ordered an Old Fashioned, and while I was initially disappointed that they used a lemon peel instead of an orange peel, my wife's supervisor reminded me that recent hurricanes in Florida affected the orange supply. I had forgotten about that, totally my mistake! In the end, I still enjoyed my whiskey. The restaurant was conveniently close to our stay at the Marriott in Addison and just down the road. While we could have walked, we chose to drive due to the busy frontage road. Although the private parking lot was full, we managed to find a spot close to the entrance. I would highly recommend this place, whether you're in town on a business trip or planning a date night with your significant other. ”
